Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to create high-profile campaigns, develop identities for little-known brands, design award-winning pieces, and build long-lasting relationships with our clients. Some of our clients’ brands represent millions of dollars in total company sales, while others are trying to make a difference in the community with very little funding. No matter which client we’re working with, we’re always thinking of new ways to help them attain their brand goals.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library is one of the most-used library systems in the nation with 8.2 million visits alone last year. Recently, the CML was rated the #1 public library system in the nation, so we were naturally honored when they approached us to help them out with their marketing communications efforts for their Summer Reading Program.

challenge

The Summer Reading Program has continued to grow every year, and last year boasted over 80,000 participants. For the 2007 program, the theme was “Find Treasures, Read.” We were asked to take the theme and create a logo that would be seen on all of the promotional materials for the program.

solution

The logo we developed now appears on all facets of their marketing materials, including: banners, newspaper ads, internal and external publications, Web, television, t-shirts, stickers, and city buses. Because of the positive response to the logo, we’ve also been asked to work on a number of other large projects for the Library including: vehicle graphic designs, banners, print and radio ads, and a donor wall installation design for the Library’s main entrance.
